Dog Signs Signs are made using a router hand held. The best router for this is the Bosch POF500, its light and easy to use freehand, has visibility to see where you are cutting and you can sometimes pick them up at car boot sales cheaply. Easy and safe change of bits. The large signs pictured here are about 36 inches long and I used timber without cutting the edges, simply left in a rustic manner. The main idea was to soften the harsh messages often implied in this sort of notice from Councils and private companies by injecting some humour on the sign. The meadows have in the past been hijacked by dog walkers in fact most times of day dogs are seen in the wild flower meadows. trouble is most of the general public are noe precluded from using the meadows because of dog mess.  Any locals are wise not to walk through the meadows for fear of dogs mess. I personally would not venture to sit in the meadows with my children or grandchildren. A pity is is not? I make other signs which I donate to the charity shops.
