Maida in Bolivia aged 4 October 2008 Maida is looking thin here has been suffering from malnutrition. She looks a little unhappy. I am concerned about this. Conditions are harsh high in the mountains. The mornings are very cold, almost everything waits for the sun to rise giving warmth.

My name is Lewis Bates. I sponsor two children. one in Cameroon and one in Bolivia. I sometimes think that this is just a drop in the ocean but if each one of us sponsored a child, and shared out some our wealth in a fair manner, it may go some way in resolving the worlds problems. It does not have to be thousands of pounds just a small monthly payment that will not break the bank balance. The children are not to blame for the world ills, you and I are. We as adults all hold some responsibility for the state the world is in. Please share some of of your wealth with a starving child who bears no sins or faults.
